Detection and classification of street intersections from the Aerial map with GIS-based deep learning
This project is conducted under the broader umbrella of the Florida Signal4 Lab at the UF GeoPlan Center, an interactive, web-based platform that supports crash mapping and analysis for law enforcement, planners, and researchers across Florida. The project aims to improve the accuracy of the state street network by training a GIS-based AI model to digitize intersection boundaries and creating a precise GIS data layer at the state level.
2024-Current
Exploring Embedded AI for Auto-Generating Traffic Crash Report Narratives
This project is also funded under the Florida Signal4 Lab.
It focuses on developing an large language model (LLM) embded framework for automatically generating crash narratives to assist officers in completing crash reports.
