Custom LoRA Training for Streetscape Design:
A Gen-AI Workflow for Regional Complete Streets Visualization
This project uses Florida as a case study to develop a workflow that enables urban designers to generate conceptual street design perspectives with a distinct regional and stylistic focus through custom training of a Stable Diffusion Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) model. The workflow includes creating training datasets using ArcGIS CityEngine, Lumion, and Unreal; training the LoRA model; generating images within the Stable Diffusion WebUI; refining images with Photoshop’s generative AI tools; and finally, delivering the visuals to Midjourney for high-quality refinement and alternative production. The final outputs include eye-level street views, roadside plazas, and bird’s-eye views of urban blocks, all presented in a conceptual design style tailored to the Florida region.

Concept Render AI Pipeline
This project explores a novel technological approach for landscape architecture design studios, with the goal of developing a new pedagogical workflow that prepares future designers for practice in the AI era. By translating sketch-level 3D models into linework and integrating them into generative AI workflows, the process substantially reduces the time required to produce design perception renderings.
